The team has vast and specialised expertise in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and medical sectors managing both local and global campaigns including B2B.

Tranica Ramsunder
Director


Tranica obtained 6 distinctions in matric, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Media and Cultural Studies from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN) and a Certificate in Public Relations from Boston Business College. She has recently completed her Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course through Google Digital Skills. She is the founder of BooST Communications, established in 2019.

Tranica began her career over fourteen years ago as a marketing and promotions officer and gained experience across a number of disciplines within marketing, including but not limited to, Communications, PR, Copywriting, Events, Digital marketing, Branding and Promotions within many diverse industries.

As a result of her diverse experience, Tranica offers in-depth industry specific insights applicable across various marketing and communications environments and is able to openly share her extensive knowledge and strategic thinking. She has an excellent and large source of network specialist partners.

Tranica has vast experience in media planning, media buying, and media liaison, strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail. She has excellent media relations spanning print, online and broadcast across South Africa.

Tranica has vast experience multiple industries including business to business, and many years’ of experience in healthcare, lifestyle and pharmaceutical marketing and PR campaigns. She has worked on various high level pharmaceutical brands, healthcare awareness campaigns and medical product marketing in the highly regulated pharmaceutical space.

Sunell Du Preez, Digital and Social Media Marketing Consultant


Sunell has built a strong reputation as a versatile creative professional, blending administrative expertise with specialised social media management skills.

Starting her career in office administration and claims management, she developed strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. She later transitioned into digital marketing, managing diverse portfolios across South Africa, the UK, and the US. In her most recent role, she oversaw content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking for multiple US-based businesses.

Sunell combines creative and analytical thinking, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Monday.com, and Trello. She specialises in strategic brand building, long-term content planning, copywriting, and paid media campaigns, with a passion for helping businesses grow through effective storytelling and seamless execution.

Dr Yuri Munsamy, Medical copywriting consultant


Dr Yuri Munsamy, is a dedicated and detail-oriented medical writer, bringing over 6 years of expertise in crafting scientifically accurate and compelling content tailored for both the healthcare sector and the wider audience.

Yuri has garnered significant experience in creating advisory board presentations, meeting reports, patient education materials, white papers, scientific publications, grant writing applications and business reports.

She holds expertise in the realms of infectious diseases and oncology, ensuring that her writings are not only rigorous but also current with the latest advancements in these areas.

With a PhD in Virology, Yuri blends her rigorous scientific training with practical industry experience, enabling her to produce documents that resonate with both professionals and laypersons.

Monique Verduyn
Copywriter Consultant


Monique Verduyn is a freelance writer, proofreader, copy editor and journalist. She specialises in writing about information technology, financial services and trends, entrepreneurship, advertising, health and wellness, women’s issues and the arts.

A skilled researcher and storyteller, Monique believes strong writing translates to media results and brand awareness. She provides up-to-date and well-researched content for local and international clients, including media releases, thought leadership articles, profiles, social media and blog content, case studies, website copy and more.

Monique has vast experience in Vancouver referencing for healthcare and pharmaceutical writing and medical pieces, apart from other referencing skills and styles.

She is fluent in Italian and has a good working knowledge of Afrikaans and French. Monique is creative, has great attention to detail and applies strategic and customised approaches to all her pieces.
